Bridget Rebek (she/her/hers) is a graduate teaching associate in both Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Health. She will graduate with her Ph.D. in Health and Human Performance in May 2022. Her primary research interests center on the physical, mental, and sexual health of midlife women during and after exceptional events, including divorce and the COVID-19 pandemic. Her additional research interests include race, mindfulness, and the gendered division of domestic labor, among other topics. She received a 2018 Research Award from the Women’s Faculty Council at Oklahoma State University and the 2017 Janice M. Epp Student Scholarship Award from the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality.
