Itinerant Bodies: The Intersection of Medieval Medicine and Visual Culture in the Régime du corps. by Jennifer Borland, OSU Assistant Professor of Art History and current Mellon Fellow in the Humanities at the University of Pennsylvania.
"The Régime du corps was a widely popular medieval health guide written in the thirteenth century . . . Focusing on several subsequent illustrated copies, Borland considers how these manuscripts might illuminate questions of audience and function . . ." Film:Playing Unfair: The Media Image of the Female Athlete. . It has been 30 years ince Title IX legislation granted women equal playing time, but the male-dominated world of sports journalism has yet to catch up with the law. Coverage of women's sport lags far behind men's, and focuses on female athletes' femininity and sexuality over their acheivements on the court and field.
